There has been some concern about changes in MB 420 scheduling and BTEC. Microbiology and BTEC are working to coordinate and finalize these changes, and will let you know when they are finalized.
However, you should be aware that BEC classes can be counted toward Microbiology restricted electives (in either the Micro major or minor) ONLY if these classes are cross-listed in Microbiology. BEC 420 can therefore be used as a restricted elective; BEC 463 cannot.
This being said, because it is a 400-level lab course, BEC 463 CAN be used in the Microbiology major to fulfill (in part) the Laboratory elective.
