Grading Scale

The plus/minus grading system will be used to assign grades according to the following scale:

486-500 A+   436-450 B+   386-400 C+ 336-350 D+   0-300 F
466-485 A 416-435 B 366-385 C 316-335 D
451-465 A- 401-415 B- 351-365 C- 301-315 D-

The grade cut-offs may be lowered on the basis of the point distribution (i.e. the final grades might be curved).


S/U Grading

In order to receive a grade of S, students are required to take all exams and quizzes, complete all assignments, and earn a grade of C- or better. Conversion from letter grading to credit only (S/U) grading is subject to university deadlines. Refer to the Registration and Records calendar for deadlines related to grading.
